You have to watch what you say on Twitter…you never know who’s listening in and repeats what you say! In DD’s case, he has been corrupted by his doppelganger, and has to have a little “time oat”.

Reading Dannyspeak without the translation has of course become a matter of pride, and then there's extra delight when I figure out one I didn't get right away. Pennodee boks! Also Taveen Hoap in the last one. I said them out loud and promptly cracked up.

I'm so glad you enjoy this! Half the reason I do it is because I love the challenge of creating a language, and the mental workout figuring out just the right words to use for maximum effect. When my youngest son Patrick was a baby, he'd try to use these HUGE words, and I always got such a kick out of it (I had to translate for my Ex). I figured a little Daniel would be the same way. I had a blast having DD all indignant because grown-ups could say stuff and not get in trouble! Usually the only time he gets a "time oat" (yes, making fun of the way Shanks says "out")is for hockey-related infractions.
